For the month of February, 2006
Shift Collaborative Studio is pleased to introduce the work of Michelle Forsyth.

The work of Kevin Haas explores the urban environment and its visual residue through photo based prints. His images capture the instability of experiences and memories coupled with the impermanent nature of the built environment.

In this exhibit titled ëPerimeters & Markingsí, Haas focuses on construction sites as disorienting visual barriers, and traces left by anonymous city dwellers. In 2004 Haas was a recipient of an Artist Trust/Washington State Arts Commission Fellowship. This will be his first solo exhibit in Seattle.

Shift Collaborative Studio opened in the fall of 2005 in the Tashiro-Kaplan Arts Complex. Shift is an artist run space with the primary goal of supporting emergent, practicing Northwest artists.

In addition to its regular hours, Shift welcomes visitors by appointment.
