Shift Collaborative Studio is pleased to introduce the work of five new members. Terra Fine, Jessie Lyle, Claire Mack, Christen Mattix, and John Sloan will be presenting works in a variety of media including drawing, painting, photography, and sculpture. In addition, a Small Works exhibit begins December 6th, featuring a variety of scaled-down, intimate artwork. The Small Works show features the entire Shift Studio group, including members Garth Amundson, Mary Coss, Terra Fine, Pierre Gour, Jo Marie Jensen, Jessie Lyle, Amanda Mae, Claire Mack, Christen Mattix, Davin Knight, Michael Knight, June Sekiguchi and John Sloan.

Shift is a collaborative artists' studio that opened in the fall of 2004 in the newly renovated Tashiro Kaplan Arts Complex. Shift was established as an artist-run space with the primary goal of supporting emergent, practicing, Northwest area artists.

The opening reception on Thursday, November 1st will provide an opportunity for the participating artists and other members of Shift to meet the public and discuss their work.
