Force of Nature
Elise Richman at Gallery4Culture

June 7 - 28, 2007
First Thursday Opening Reception: June 7, 6-8 PM

Shift Collaborative Studio member Elise Richman is showing a series of new paintings at the Gallery4Culture in June. Her dimensional paintings are geographies constructed out of beads, dollops, and pools of oil and/or acrylic paint. They express a reverence for nature as well as hope and anxiety about one’s effect on and place in the world.

Gallery4Culture is also located in the Tashiro-Kaplan Building at 101 Prefontaine Place South. Regular gallery hours are M-F 9am-5pm.
