In January, Shift Collaborative Studio is pleased to introduce the work of Amy Lin.

Amy Lin's mixed media panels present viewers with a series of visual games. Incorporating various cultural themes and signifiers, her work investigates the ways we draw on visual imagery in an attempt to decipher meaning from our lives. Amy holds a BFA in painting from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Shift is a collaborative artists' studio that opened in the fall of 2004 in the newly renovated Tashiro Kaplan Arts Complex. Shift was established as an artist-run space with the primary goal of supporting emergent, practicing, Northwest area artists. Other Shift members are Garth Amundson, Susanna Bluhm, Sarah Gilbert, Pierre Gour, Claire Jauregui, Cara Jaye, Davin and Michael Knight, Amy Lin, Eugene Parnell, Elise Richman, and Lun-Yi Tsai.
