Fayetteville Underground is an arts organization based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Formed in February 2009, it offers four galleries and studio space for artists in a former bank building on the city’s historical square. The mission of Fayetteville Underground is to create an environment where artists and the public can build relationships and share the creative process. In doing so, Fayetteville Underground promotes the arts in Northwest Arkansas and supports the city as a destination for the visual arts. The four gallery spaces host solo and group shows, featuring member artists as well as national and international visiting artists. Exhibition receptions are held every month as part of the First Thursday events in the active downtown community.
