Purposed to hold pieces of information in an environment of possibilities, visions, and echo science these works hold intense thoughts just before the moment where revelation is self-directed." Romson Regarde Bustillo was born on the island of Mindanao in Cagayan de Oro City, the Philippines. His work is represented in private and public collections nationally and internationally. A significant part of his work eplore the role(s) individuals and groups assume as they pass and/or enter environments. "The tools we employ to process information and the context of our understandings are themes found in my work." "I make simple accordion books and pages whenever I am in between projects. In this current show I am displaying that work; that visual thinking. It is not planning or diagramming it is just thinking and doing." Kamla Kakaria received an MFA in printmaking from the University of Washington and exhibits at Shift Gallery in Seattle. She teaches at Pratt and Kirkland Arts Center and she is Pratt's 2D/Print Department Manager. Shift is a collaborative artist’s studio that opened in the fall of 2004 in the renovated Tashiro Kaplan Arts Complex.
