Werewolf  Stories, c olor photograph,  inkjet print, 2010-11 



 Photographs from an ongoing self-portrait project, taken while interacting with a wolf skin and illuminated predominantly with black light.  

Conceived as werewolf stories, the images explore myths of photographic transformation and reanimation.  With text by Christian Kuras.


 Ted Hiebert is a Canadian visual artist and theorist and Assistant Professor of Interdisciplinary Arts at the University of Washington Bothell. His work has been exhibited and published widely,

 most recently at the Digital Art Weeks festival in Xi'an (China), Truck Artist Run Centre in Calgary (Canada) and online in CTHEORY, a journal of theory, technology and culture.
