Shift is in the Tashiro Kaplan Arts Complex located at the corner of 3rd Avenue and Washington in the Pioneer Square area of downtown Seattle. We are on the second floor of the complex, which can be accessed by taking the stairs at the entrance on S. Washington Street. Please see map at bottom right.

Driving directions:

I-5 Southbound:

- Take Dearborn exit
- Make a right at light
- Make a right onto 4th ave S
- And then a left onto S. Washington
- Entrance located between the Davidson Contemporary and G.Gibson Galleries on the right..

I-5 Northbound

- Take the 4th Ave S exit
- Make a left onto 4th Ave. S
- And then a left onto S. Washington
- Located above the G. Gibson Gallery on the right.
- Entrance located between the Davidson Contemporary and G.Gibson Galleries on the right..

Wheelchair Access:

Enter the Tashiro Kaplan building at 312 S. Washington which is just one door up from the entrance to Shift Studios (Shift Studios is technically located at 306 S. Washington, but wheelchair access is available from the 312 entrance).  Enter and take a left down the hallway and proceed through the door at the end.  The wheelchair ramp is right inside this door.  At the top of the ramp take a left down another hallway (past the bathrooms on the left) and through another door.  Take your next right and you will see a sign for "Shift" studios ahead on the left handside which is where the exhibit is being held.
